Couples Counselling Clinical Supervision Program provides a supportive and reflective space to continue developing your practice alongside peers who share a commitment to working with couples and relationships
The program can be completed standalone or alongside our Couples Counselling Clinical Internship program.
Upon completing the program, you will have enhanced your ability to formulate clinical reflections, experiment with different theoretical lenses and deepen your understanding of couple dynamics through collaborative discussion and roleplay. This program strengthens your professional development and can contribute to meeting requirements for supervision requirements for professional registration.
This interactive 12 session program offers clinical group supervision to established couple counsellors and graduates of our Specialist Course in Integrative Couple Therapy (SCICT) and our Online Couples Counselling Course: A contemporary and client-focused approach.
Each 2 hour session provides a structured and collaborative space for 4–6 professionals to explore complex cases, enhance clinical skills, manage countertransference and reflect on therapeutic self issues. This group integrates key principles from a wide variety of couple therapy theories, frameworks and approaches of clinical practice. This clinical supervision process provides a rich, interactive and supportive environment for participants to enhance their training and professional development.

Why participate
Experienced facilitation The program is facilitated by Simone Young. Simone is a couples therapist and group facilitator with 20 years of experience working in the community services sector and private practice. In her role as Senior Program Facilitator at RAV, Simone facilitates the SCICT and our Online Couples Counselling Course: A contemporary and client-focused approach and oversees the Clinical Internship program. She is a registered clinical counsellor with PACFA, a graduate of the SCICT and has a Masters of Clinical Family Therapy (Bouverie/LaTrobe). Simone is passionate about the process of supervision and supporting the development of both early career and established couple therapists.
This program can be completed standalone or alongside our Clinical Internship. Graduates may wish to continue their professional development through ongoing clinical supervision or other specialised programs offered by RAV.
