About the webinar

Men and fathers can face barriers that prevent them from accessing support or staying connected with services. Understanding these barriers helps practitioners create more accessible and responsive programs.

Drawing on Relationships Australia Victoria’s men’s programs and national evidence, this webinar explores why men disengage, what effective engagement looks like and how changes to practice, language and setting can make a difference. It is the one-hour companion to the Working with Dads workshop.

What you’ll learn

By completing this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Explain the main barriers to men’s and fathers’ engagement with services
  • Apply practical changes to improve engagement
  • Identify resources and programs for men and fathers.

Who should attend

This webinar is suitable for practitioners and program staff in community, family, health, education and workplace settings who want to strengthen their engagement with men and fathers.
