About the webinar

Property and financial matters can be an area of separation that practitioners feel less equipped to address. This information session explains how these matters are currently mediated, how FDR differs from other forms of mediation, what practitioners need to know before taking on this work and the training pathways available. It provides an orientation to the area rather than practical skills training.

What you’ll learn

By completing this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Describe how property and financial matters are mediated under the current framework
  • Explain the differences between FDR and general mediation in property and financial matters
  • Identify the training and accreditation pathway for practising property and financial mediation.

Who should attend

This webinar is designed for:

  • FDR practitioners and mediators considering property work
  • Family law support staff
  • Counsellors who refer clients into property mediation.
